A typical day
The school day starts at 8.15am, with time to settle in to the routine of the day before morning lessons begin.
Usually the day starts with phonics, Literacy or Maths, with a morning break at 10.30am to enjoy the outdoors and burn off some energy.
After break there are usually specialist lessons, whether PE, Games, Music or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), and then we head to lunch in the dining room at 12pm.
After a delicious and healthy lunch, it is back to Pre-Prep for the second break time of the day. Afternoon lessons begin at 1pm, and may consist of topic based learning, Forest School or even time in the library and computer room. For Years 2 and 3, individual music lessons may also take place in Pre-prep throughout the school day. The day finishes at 3.30pm, with activities running until 4.15pm, and after school club until 5.45pm for those who require it.
