Teaching and Pastoral

I joined Summer Fields in 2023 as a Year 3 teacher and Lodge parent in Mayfield, with my husband Peter. Prior to this, I taught and lived in South Africa, Botswana, Isle of Wight and now Oxford and I have thoroughly enjoyed all the experiences I have had on the way. Despite being a teacher for 30 years, I still feel privileged to do what I do and there is always something new to learn. We have 2 grown up children; Calvin who is working and living in London and Ashlyn who is a Year 1 teacher at a private school in Newbury. Ruby, our golden Lab has recently joined our family and loves living in a lodge where she has constant attention. Both of our children completed their education at St Edward's so we know the area well. I enjoy spending time with my family and, when time allows, I love a good book, musical theatre and exploring new places.
