Diana Sichel was educated at Queensgate and Westonbirt Schools, followed by Girton College, Cambridge and Middlesex Hospital Medical School.  She worked for many years as a GP in Oxford, and is an Extraordinary Fellow of New College, Oxford.  She is involved in a number of charities both locally and on the Isle of Wight.  She is married to John and has 2 grown-up children.
